The Orange County Great Park announces the opening of its latest art exhibition, The Art of Competition. The exhibit runs Sunday, March 3, through Sunday, May 12, with an exhibition opening on Sunday, March 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. Exhibit, opening, and parking are free and open to the public.
The Art of Competition is an exhibition that illustrates different facets of professional sports, from the venues and stadiums to the individual teams and players themselves. The exhibition features international and award-winning artists whose clients include: Bleacher Report, EA Sports, ESPN, FIFA, Nike, Red Bull, Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated, Starbucks, Vice Media, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and more.
The Orange County Great Park is located at 8000 Great Park Blvd. in Irvine. Gallery hours are noon–4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, visit ocgp.org/arts or call 949-724-6880.
