Jamboree Road Widening Project

Jamboree Road Widening Project

Project Description

The Jamboree Road Widening Project is proposed to relieve congestion and improve mobility along this important arterial roadway. The City of Irvine is proposing to widen the current eight-lane Jamboree Road segment from Main Street and Barranca Parkway to a 10-lane road that accommodates bicyclist and pedestrian transportation. When complete, the Project would improve traffic safety for motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, and transit users.

Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the City of Irvine has prepared an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) to analyze the potential environmental effects associated with the proposed roadway widening project.

Comment Period

The IS/MND is available for public review for 30 days. The Comment Period closed at 4 p.m. on August 7, 2017.
