Irvine, Calif.  (Aug. 10, 2017) – The Irvine Police Department has arrested a suspect who was caught on video surveillance burglarizing a home in the Woodbury neighborhood on July 31.  The suspect, who is a juvenile, was arrested in San Bernardino County on Wednesday afternoon. Tips that came in after video of the crime was aired by several media outlets ultimately led police to the suspect’s location.

On July 31 between 12:20 and 12:37 p.m., the suspect smashed the rear sliding glass door of a home in the 20 block of Royal Grove. At 12:37 p.m., a babysitter returned home with a child who resides at the home, at which time the suspect ran down the staircase.
