Irvine Animal Care Center to Host Pet Adoption Fair

The City of Irvine Animal Care Center will host the 9th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Center. More than 500 animals, including dogs, cats and rabbits, will be available for adoption from rescue organizations and shelters.

The annual event features dozens of vendors, gourmet food trucks, a silent auction, low-cost microchipping and an opportunity drawing. Each animal available for adoption is spayed or neutered, microchipped and evaluated by a veterinarian. Cats and dogs are vaccinated.

Suggested donation for the event is $2; parking is free. Leashed and vaccinated dogs are welcome. Proceeds from Home for the Holidays benefit the Animal Care Center in its efforts to provide care and support to thousands of homeless, neglected and abused animals each year.
