The vermiculture process uses worms to break down food waste to make nutritious soil for plants to grow in. In this workshop, learn how to make your own miniature worm composting bins using recycled materials. Supplies limited; register by Thursday before start date.

Participants should bring two nested containers. They can be yogurt containers, to-go soup containers, large tupperware, etc. The container should be plastic and preferably with a lid and a wide mouth. Holes will be punctured to the lid and bottom of the containers for drainage and air. Soil, shredded newspaper, bits of food and worms will be provided on the day of the workshop.

Workshops are weather permitting.
