The community is invited for the 5th Annual Walk for Unity in collaboration with the Irvine Global Village Festival. The Walk will be held on October 1st at the Irvine Bill Barber Park as the pre-event for the festival. The Walk for Unity is organized by Humanity Unites, a grassroots organization of community leaders committed to engaging the community through education and understanding of shared values through humanitarian and transnational projects. Attendees are invited to wear traditional clothing representing their cultural backgrounds so please do so if you wish. We are delighted to have you join us in celebrating the great diverse background of the members of our community and learn about one another. We do ask that you support the mission of the Festival and refrain from promoting political and religious messages, instead promote cultural understanding and awareness. The Walk will be held at Bill Barber Park located at 4 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine (next to the Irvine Civic Center).
