Brush and Leaf Collections Waste Management of Orange County collects brush, leaves, and other yard waste for Irvine residents and businesses. These collection days are in addition to your normal collection days and are strictly for the pickup of yard and outdoor waste. Clippings should be bagged or boxed according to department regulation. Bulk Trash Collections Waste Management of Orange County provides bulk trash collection for Irvine residents and businesses. These collection days are in addition to your normal collection days and are strictly for the pickup of ordinary household bulk items, such as refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, and furniture. A bulk trash collection schedule can be obtained from the department so you know what day this collection occurs in your neighborhood. The department will not collect regular trash, building materials, hazardous materials, recyclables, or other non-household bulk item for these special pickups. Christmas Tree Collections Waste Management of Orange County offers Christmas tree collection for Irvine residents who wish to dispose of their trees. Trees should be placed curbside with regular waste and recycling. Trees may be bundled, but it's not necessary. All decorations, lights, metal stands and other dressings should be removed. Trees longer than six fet must be cut in half and flocked trees will be collected but cannot be recycled. For more information, contact Waste Management of Orange County at (949) 642-1191.
