Fairgrounds/ Orange County Fair & Exposition Center

The annual Orange County Fair, Centennial Farm, The Ranch, Youth Expo and more than 100 events are held throughout the year at The Orange County Fair & Exposition Center.

Farmer's Markets
The Orange County Farm Bureau sponsors two Certified Farmer's Markets in Irvine.

Every Saturday, 8 a.m. - noon, rain or shine, located at the Irvine Center on the corner of Bridge and Campus (across from UCI).

Every Tuesday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., rain or shine,  Irvine Historical Park located at Irvine Boulevard and Old Myford Road.

California Certified farmers' markets are places where genuine farmers sell fruits, nuts and vegetables directly to the public.

Fine Arts Center - ArtBeat Brochure
The ArtBeat is a quarterly publication that contains detailed information and descriptions of upcoming fine arts programs for children, teens, and adults, as well as special event and exhibition information.

Historical Landmarks and Sites
The Irvine Historical Society, which was founded in 1976 to preserve, research, and promote the heritage of the original Irvine Ranch, has actively worked with The Irvine Company, the City of Irvine, and the County of Orange to promote the preservation of historical areas. For more information visit, www.irvineranchhistory.org.

The Irvine Historical Museum is adjacent to the Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course Clubhouse, south of the 405 freeway, west of Culver Drive at 5 San Joaquin, Irvine,  CA  92612.    The Irvine Historical Museum is open Sunday and Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.  It is closed on holidays.  The Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers, so prior to visiting the museum, a phone call is encouraged at (949) 786-4112.

Irvine Lake

New Residents and Visitors Center

Destination Irvine, a service of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, serves as a starting point to citizens who are new to Irvine.  It provides guidance in finding dining, shopping, housing, and government services around the area. For new residents to the area, they can additionally help you find your way to area schools, police stations, banks, real estate agencies, grocery stores, and other locations of value to you.

Orange County Zoo

The Orange County Zoo is located within Irvine Regional Park.  Irvine Regional Park is located in Santiago Canyon, six miles east of the City of Orange. Their address is 1 Irvine Park Road, Orange, CA  92869.  

The Orange County Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and it is closed on December 25th and January 1st.

Santa Ana Zoo

Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is located at 1801 East Chestnut Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92701.  The park is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the grounds closing at 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with grounds closing at 6 p.m. Admission is $6 for persons 13 and older, $3 for children 3-12 and $3 for seniors, children under 3 are free.

The Irvine Museum
The Irvine Museum was founded in 1992 by Joan Irvine Smith and her mother, the late Athalie R. Clarke (1903-1993).  The first exhibition opened on January 15, 1993.

It is the only museum in California dedicated to the preservation and display of California Impressionism or Plein-Air paintings, an art style that flourished in California from 1890 to 1930.

Water Park
