Becoming a Volunteer
Turtle Rock Nature Center is always looking for volunteers! Volunteers can assist in a variety of areas:

  • Nature Center: Trail maintenance, non-native plant removal, administrative assistance.
  • Programs and Events: Assist with registration and check-in on programs and hikes, assist with hikes.
  • Docents: A docent is a volunteer trained in the basics of ecology and natural history. Docents assist staff naturalists with hikes, campouts and summer camps.
