The Irvine Fine Arts Center Jewelry Studio is equipped with all the tools and equipment necessary to create beautiful jewelry. Whether you cast or hand- fabricate your pieces, you will find what you need here in our studio. Available for use in classes or open studio times are: | |

Our expert instructors are present each quarter to teach the various skills required for jewelry manufacture including casting, fabricating, stone setting, texturing, chain-making, Art Clay Silver (PMC), enameling and more. Jewelry professionals include Sheri Cohen, Brian Giberson, Marilee Nielson, Jean Vormelker, and Brenda Wey. Class sizes are limited to ensure individual attention from the instructors.
Glass Also included within our jewelry studio is our glass program. There are four glass kilns to use when participating in Glass Fusing Classes. These classes are limited to four participants to ensure maximum learning and production. Our glass art expert, Randi Peshkin, teaches our Glass Basics, Glass Fusing, and other glass art classes throughout the year. Glass art experts Randi Peshkin and Alice Phillips teach fused glass and stained glass techniques.
Beads Learn how to create your own Lampwork Beads. Expert Lisa Claver teaches this one-day workshop where everything is provided for you to learn this incredible art of creating your own glass beads. Learn what it takes to set up your own bead-making station at home.
If you would like to learn how to create bead jewelry, from the selection and purchase of beads to all of the finishing details, our “Bead Stringing Basics” and “More Bead Stringing” classes are for you. Learn from professional Sheri Cohen how to create stunning one-of-a-kind pieces. Terri Holtzman specializes in the knotting techniques used in stringing pearls.
