Disc Golf Course

Disc Golf (aka Frisbee Golf) is played much like miniature golf, hitting targets with flying discs. Great family fun as players of various ages and skills can all join in, as long as they can throw a disc. Disc Golf is now played competitively as a sport all over the world.

**Suspension of Disc Golf Course Play at Deerfield**
In September 2008, play was suspended and the course was removed at Deerfield Community Park pending the results of a safety study.

The course at Deerfield Community Park was established in 1980. Deerfield has three Disc Golf Pole Hole baskets (each played twice as holes 13 & 16, alternate 10 & 15, 3 & 14). All other targets are signed and striped cement light poles. (Currently suspended)

The course at University Community Park was redesigned in 2005 and also includes four (4) Pole Hole baskets. Hole # 1 was removed in October 2006 due to construction of the new facility.
