Irvine Child Care Project Caring for School Age Children

The mission of the Irvine Child Care Project (ICCP) is to provide quality, affordable school-age child care through community-based, non-profit organizations located on elementary school sites for children of families who live and/or work in Irvine.

PARC

The Program Assessment and Review Committee (PARC) supports the ICCP by monitoring the quality of each ICCP program. PARC conducts annual site reviews that include self-evaluations from the program staff, review team visitations, and written evaluations/ recommendations. PARC establishes and updates the ICCP quality childcare criteria and policies and procedures for program reviews. PARC participates in the selection process for new program providers. PARC also assesses written complaints from parents, staff, and community members and makes recommendations for resolutions.
