Irvine Wireless Ordinance - Participate

City staff will be holding a series of community meetings to inform citizens, businesses, agencies, and other interested parties about the moratorium, progress towards completion of the new wireless ordinance, and obtain valuable feedback from interested stakeholders.

The ordinance crafted through this process will guide the placement and aesthetics of future wireless communications facilities installations in the city. If you live, work, or play in Irvine, we want you to be involved in shaping how future wireless infrastructure can add value to your lives and neighborhoods.

If you would like to participate in this process, please contact staff with your comments, thoughts, ideas, and suggestion or to arrange for a meeting with your group.

Staff would also like to know what the community values most and how you believe wireless facilities can best be integrated into the community. What would you like to see changed or improved? What opportunities should the community pursue? We need your ideas and suggestions!

Contact Bill Rodrigues at (949) 724-6359 or brodrigues@ci.irvine.ca.us or Sarah Chmielak at (949) 724-6387 or schmielak@ci.irvine.ca.us with your comments.

Meeting dates and times will be posted on this site as they are scheduled. Please check back often for updates.
