Housing

The Housing Division is responsible for implementing the City’s Housing Strategy including the affordable housing component of the Great Park Redevelopment Project Area and meeting the requirements of the Redevelopment Housing Set-Aside Funds.


 

IRVINE COMMUNITY LAND TRUST

The Irvine Community Land Trust (ICLT) is a non-profit organization created by the City of Irvine in 2005.The mission of the ICLT is to secure and retain title to land on which permanently affordable rental, ownership and special needs housing will be constructed and maintained for the benefit of low and moderate income households.

ICLT will offer both affordable rental housing and affordable homeownership opportunities in the future. The Land Trust also expects to participate in the development of housing for special needs households.
