Mission Statement: To assure that all construction in the City complies with adopted codes, and that permitting and licensing systems are efficient and serve the needs of the public, as well as the City.  The City of Irvine operates a high quality Building and Safety program. We place priority on providing you with a high level of efficiency and service. To enhance efficiency, we use an automated plan review and permit system. We attempt, whenever possible, to help you solve your building and safety related problems.
