IRVINE, CA (January 24, 2014): The City of Irvine, in partnership with Orange County United Way, AARP Tax-Aide, Korean American Federation of Enrolled Agents, Irvine Valley College and the Orange County One-Stop Center, is offering free tax preparation services to taxpayers who earned less than $58,000 in 2013. Qualifying taxpayers who live, work or attend school in Irvine can receive assistance with filing their tax returns from IRS-trained and certified volunteers, who will also assist in applying the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), if applicable.

Free tax preparation services are available at the following Irvine locations:

Cypress Community Park, 255 Visions, Irvine
February 4 – April 15
Tuesday: 6 - 9 p.m. and Thursday:  4 - 9 p.m. (April 15 extended hours of 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Orange County One-Stop Center, 125 Technology Way, Suite 200, Irvine
Friday: February 7 – April 11
9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Irvine Valley College, 5500 Irvine Center Drive, IrvineBusiness Sciences and Technology Innovation Center
Saturday: February 1 – April 12
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Lakeview Senior Center, 20 Lake Road, Irvine (AARP Tax-Aide)Wednesday: February 5 – April 9
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Pacific City Bank, 13140 Yale Avenue, Irvine
Saturday: March 8 – March 22
9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
