IRVINE, CA (October 17, 2013): On Thursday, October 17, 2013, just after 4:00 p.m., the Irvine Police Department received a missing persons report from the family of 62-year-old, Mohammad Kabir.
Mr. Kabir suffers from dementia and other health issues requiring medication. He was last seen at approximately 11:00 a.m. at his residence on Wycliffe, (the area of El Camino Real and Jamboree) in Irvine. He walked away from that location wearing gray sweatpants, black dress shoes and a gray short-sleeve polo shirt. Mr. Kabir only speaks Farsi. He is 5’ 10” tall, weighs 140 pounds and has grey “salt and pepper” short hair.
Due to his medical issues, Mr. Kabir’s mental state can fluctuate; at times he can be very confused while at other times, he will seem lucid. He does not drive or have access to a car and his identification and wallet were left behind. He is familiar with the Irvine and Tustin Market Place shopping Centers.
Irvine Police Officers are continuing to search for Mr. Kabir. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Irvine Police Department at 949-724-7200.
