Forecast and Analysis (Transportation Modeling)

The Irvine Transportation Analysis Model (ITAM) is a computer-based traffic model for all city streets and some adjacent city streets.  The model forecasts and analyzes traffic for various years including existing, near-term (five years out), long-term (25 years out) and full build-out conditions.  The different scenario performance levels are analyzed throughout the of the City circulation system.  The computer modeling system correlates the General Plan Land Use and circulation elements and complies with the transportation modeling requirements of various funding programs.  For the most recent data available for the ITAM system please contact City staff at (949)724-7370.
