Irvine Station is located at 15215 Barranca Parkway. Click here for directions and additional information.
As the busiest station in Orange County, Irvine Station offers connections to Metrolink’s Orange County and Inland Empire/Orange County lines, Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner service, OCTA’s local and commuter services and LAX FlyAway service to Los Angeles International Airport.
There is ample free parking in the station’s spacious 1,500-space parking facility. Vehicles can be parked for up to 72 hours. The station also houses a staffed Amtrak counter, bike lockers, restrooms, vending machines and information kiosks. It is monitored 24 hours a day by on-site security.
The Irvine Station provides shared-use zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) for use by commuters to travel from the station to their workplaces through the ZEVNET program. ZEVNET is a partnership between UC Irvine and private companies in Irvine that are interested in providing environmentally friendly transportation options for their employees.
ZEVNET vehicles are parked at solar- and fuel cell-powered charging stations at the Irvine Station. Any ZEVNET participant getting off a train in the morning can pick up a ZEVNET vehicle and drive it to his worksite. The car charges while in the office parking lot and can be used by other employees for trips during normal business hours. At the end of the day, the employee who picked up the car in the morning drives it back to the Irvine Station and takes the train home, leaving the car charging overnight.
Ask your employer to become a ZEVNET partner today! Visit www.zevnet.org for more information about the program.
