HELP WANTED!

Research has indicated that people involved in volunteer service can help improve their life expectancy by fostering better psychological and physical well being.

The desire to help and serve others is a wonderful way to bolster morale, build self-esteem, make new friends and even learn new skills.

If you have a desire to make a difference, join us at one of our monthly volunteer orientation sessions held on the third Wednesday of each month. Choose from a convenient morning session 10:00-11:00 a.m. or evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Senior Center. We have an abundance of volunteer opportunities available for all ages.

We are constantly seeking individuals interested in volunteering in the areas of Outreach Services, meal servers in the Rose Garden Cafe, Recreation, Education, Fitness, Carpentry, Newspaper Translation, Computer Lab, and Special Events. There is a continuous need for volunteers that are able to offer transportation to seniors for local medical appointments and an immediate need for Volunteer Mentors for ESL students, and Hospitality Ambassador Interpreters. For more information, call Ellen Jones, Volunteer Coordinator, at (949) 724 6904.
