 | SENIOR SERVICES STRATEGIC PLANThe City of Irvine would like to thank all of the individuals who participated in a community wide planning process addressing existing and emerging issues facing the older adult community of Irvine.
Community input used in the development of the Senior Services Strategic Plan was gathered from over 600 community members, stakeholders, senior services experts and service providers. Information was gathered through five task forces, an advisory committee, town hall meetings, a community survey and the Irvine Senior Citizens Council.
Five priority areas were identified as the focus of the Plan and a task force was established for each:
• Financial, Insurance, Employment and Advocacy
• Housing
• Physical and Mental Health
• Recreation and Leisure
• Transportation
