Scholarship Application Procedure

 

 The intent of the Community Services scholarship program is to provide short-term
assistance for Irvine residents to allow families and individuals an opportunity to
participate in the community programs and recreational activities.

Irvine Residents who meet specific income criteria may receive:
  1.    A maximum of $200 (two hundred) per qualifying person, per year for classes offered
in the Activity Guide including Kids Klub (licensed after school care).
* Fee classes include all City offered program listed with a class number in
the Activity Guide. You can view our classes by clicking here.
* Scholarship funds cannot be used for
Water Aerobics, Tennis Teams,
Tournaments, Workouts, Leagues, Private Lessons and Point of Sale
Transactions.
Other restrictions may apply.
* Funds can only be used for the course registration fee. It does not cover material
fees, transportation ect...
2.    Scholarship funds cannot be transferred from year to year or from person to person.

Irvine is growing and changing; the scholarship program is growing and changing with it.
Participation in the program in previous years does not guarantee approval for future
years.

Please read the application carefully. Applications missing any of the documentation
such as pay stubs, most recent year's tax doc, etc...are deemed incomplete and will be
returned to the applicant.
