Free Legal Assistance to Qualified Irvine Residents
The City of Irvine has partnered with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County to provide free civil legal services to qualified Irvine residents. Services include self-help clinics, workshops, online court forms, an intake hotline, preparation of legal documents and legal representation.

News ImageHome for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair
The City of Irvine Animal Care Center will host the 8th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair on Sunday, December 7 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. More than 500 homeless animals will be available for adoption from rescue organizations and shelters including dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The annual event features dozens of vendors, gourmet food trucks, a silent auction, low-cost micro-chipping and an opportunity drawing. Each animal available for adoption is spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and evaluated by a veterinarian. Cats and dogs are vaccinated. Admission is $1 per person. Parking is free and leashed dogs are welcome. Event proceeds benefit the Animal Care Center in its efforts to provide care and support to thousands of homeless, neglected and abused animals each year. The 2014-2015 winter issue of Inside Irvine, which includes the Activity Guide and City news is now online and will be mailed to Irvine residents the week of November 17. In addition to offering hundreds of course listings, the winter edition features articles on UCI's 50th Anniversary, 10 City programs you need to know about and holiday safety tips. Please note: Winter camps run December 22 to January 2. Several classes begin the week of January 5. Registration begins on November 17; click here to browse the listings.

The spring edition will be mailed the week of February 23.
