Irvine Children’s Health Program (iCHP)

Goal of iCHP
To promote the health and wellness of the community by ensuring all Irvine children have access to affordable health services.

What is iCHP?
A program to assist income eligible families to access affordable quality health care for their children. The City of Irvine, in partnership with the Children’s Health Initiative of Orange County (CHI OC) are here to assist income eligible families enroll into: MediCal, Healthy Families, California Kids or Kaiser Child Health Plan. Each of the programs have different requirements, eligibility criteria and availability.

How To Get Started
There are several ways for a family to get started:

  • Review the eligibility criteria below to make sure you are eligible for the iCHP.
  • A family can complete the Survey and submit it to CHI OC who will then contact you directly to make an appointment.
  • A family can email CHI OC directly at ichp@cityofirvine.org and a Certified Application Assistor will contact you to make an appointment.
  • A family can attend a community event or call for an appoint at an Irvine location listed below.
