The Printmaking Studio is primarily set up for letterpress printing, but can also accommodate individuals interested in woodblock, monotype, and sign press printing. For a full listing of equipment offered by the facility, please visit our equipment page for details.
Our studio offers various courses and workshops throughout the year including beginning and intermediate letterpress classes, insessions, and one-day workshop intensives. Students will learn everything from hand-setting type to printing with photo polymer plates. Some examples of various projects to be completed are as follows: letterhead, postcards, business cards, note cards, announcements, stationary, broadsides, art prints, hand printed books and much, much more!
