 | Drawing & PaintingThe Drawing and Painting department has much to offer the beginning, intermediate, and the advanced artist. Enjoy learning basic drawing skills as well as how to paint with watercolor, acrylic, or oil paints. You can even learn how to mix it all up in one of our mixed media classes!Our instructors have extensive backgrounds and all are experts in their chosen disciplines. Thomas Brown teaches Oil Painting Workshops and Plein Air Oil Painting each quarter. Ve-na Chen teaches Chinese Brush Painting and Paul Gardner teaches Painting and drawing. Victoria Templeton hosts our Painter's Connection. Victoria and Marlene Gerloff provide expert instruction in Watercolor Painting. Wendy Froshay specializes in drawing skills. Many of our instructors teach at colleges and universities as well as here at the Fine Arts Center.
