Hike with the Mayor and
Quail Trail Connector Opening
Saturday, March 20; 8:30am
Quail Hill Loop Trailhead, 34 Shady Canyon Drive
Come celebrate the opening of the Quail Trail connector,
the last piece of the open access trail system which connects
Irvine's southern open space trail system with the Laguna
Canyon trails. The City's commitment to preserving open space
began in June 1988, when Irvine voters overwhelmingly
approved the historic Open Space Initiative. This vision created
a unique quality of life for Irvine residents to explore and enjoy
our natural resources and open spaces.
Activities include: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Hiking with the Mayor, docent led hike through the Quail Hill Loop and the newly opened Quail Trail connector, trail maps and Open Space information booths.

The Middle School Youth Action Team sponsors monthly dances for all IUSD middle school students. Students must have printed receipt or dance ticket purchased from their school to be admitted. Middle School students only.
