Victor Ranches started playing tennis at the age of 8 and played competitively throughout his junior years. He attended Sonora High School where he played Varsity Singles all four years. In March 2007, he joined the City of Irvine Tennis Staff and is currently the assistant director of the Irvine World Team tennis league and USTA National Junior Open.  He also assists with tennis program maintenance.
