PROJECT STATUS

  • Public Review Period for Notice of Preparation (NOP): February 3, 2014 to March 5, 2014

PROJECT LOCATION

Laguna Canyon Road traverses the southern section of the 77.3 acre vacant project site. The northern portion of the project site is bound by Interstate (I)-405 to the north, Laguna Canyon Road to the west and south, and State Route (SR)-133 to the east. The southern portion of the project site is a triangle-shaped area southwest of the intersection of SR-133 and Laguna Canyon Road.

REQUEST 

The applicant has filed a request for a general plan amendment (GPA) and Zone Change application for the transfer of 600,000 square feet of commercial development intensity from Planning Area (PA) 33 (Irvine Spectrum 1) to PA 17 (Quail Hill). The proposal does not add overall building intensity to the General Plan but rather shifts intensity from one PA to the other.

ENVIRONMENTAL
