General Plan Update- October 2014

The City of Irvine Community Development Department has proposed a General Plan Amendment and City Municipal Code (Subdivision Ordinance) amendment to update population generation characteristics for consistency with 2010 Census population and housing figures, pursuant to the State Quimby Act requirements for parkland dedication. Specifically, the persons per dwelling unit figures in Table A-3 of the Land Use Element of the General Plan and Section 5-5-1004, subsection D.1 of the Municipal Code (Subdivision Ordinance) will be amended to reflect the new population generation factors as follows:

have been included in the project and a Draft Negative Declaration has been prepared.
