Councilmember Jeffrey Lalloway Bio

Jeffrey Lalloway, elected to the Irvine City Council in November 2010, is a father, husband, attorney, businessman, and proud Irvine resident. After graduating in 1986 with highest honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, Jeffrey attended Villanova University School of Law. While at Villanova Law School, he was a member of the prestigious Law Review and was a recipient of the Law Alumni Award. In 1989, he graduated from Villanova Law School at the top of his class.

 
After many years as an attorney in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey moved his practice to Irvine. He currently practices family law in Orange County. His commentaries on financial and economic issues have been featured in magazines and newspapers including Time, People, USA Today, and the Daily Breeze. Prior to going into private practice, Jeffrey worked in the Philadelphia office of the U.S. Attorney.
 
Jeffrey and his wife Laura are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Regan and Sydney. Laura Lalloway is a Medical Science Liaison with a Fortune 500 medical and consumer products company.
 
Jeffrey serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Orange County Great Park and on the Coastal Greenbelt Authority. He previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Great Park, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Transportation Authority and on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Fire Authority.
 
In his spare time, Jeffrey loves to ride his bicycle around Orange County and watch his daughters play lacrosse and act in local plays. When his kids were younger, he used to be the assistant coach for his daughter’s softball team and enjoyed sharing the Indian Princess experience with his girls.
 
The Lalloway family has also opened their home to two pugs, Rocky and Mickey.
