Celebrate community, connection, and clean air through its first-ever car-free open streets event, CicloIrvine, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

Residents, visitors, and businesses are invited to stroll, bike, and roll along nearly 2 miles of streets closed to cars along Barranca Parkway and Harvard Avenue.

Summer High School Program

Earn while you learn! The One Irvine Workforce Summer High School Program connects high school students of all backgrounds to paid summer employment, work readiness training, and mentorship opportunities. 

Join us Saturday, March 23, 1–3 p.m., at Great Park Hangar 244 for a fun, family-friendly workshop inspired by the captivating exhibition, “Natural Language: Contemporary Book Art,” at the Great Park Gallery.

“How to Booklet: Sharing Your Knowledge” allows you to discover the joy of bookmaking and create a unique piece of art to express yourself — a perfect activity for all ages!

In support of “Natural Language: Contemporary Book Art,” the Great Park Gallery presents a three-part, live jazz music series, “Jazz in the Palm Court!” Inspired by a diverse range of composers and musicians, this event echoes the cultural diversity represented in “Natural Language: Contemporary Book Art,” on view at the Great Park Gallery beginning February 11.

Bring folding chairs and blankets for seating around the Gallery and Palm Court; no advance registration is needed for these free events.
